ADDITIONAL INFO: Risk lived with two elderly humans who took him in when they found him as a stray puppy. He spent most of his time caring for them as they grew older and sick, by stealing medication from pharmacies they otherwise couldn't afford. He joined Wreck's pack the night his humans were killed, and would do anything in his power to stop Katzbalger from killing more innocent humans and dogs.

ADDITIONAL INFO: Raised with abusive owners, Never learned to hate and fear humans. They had even gone so far as to cut most of her tail clean off. Although she finally escaped the abusive home, she still hasn't been able to bring herself to accept and trust humans since. She walks with a limp in one back leg.

ADDITIONAL INFO: Seir keeps a blindfold on at all times due to his beliefs. He gets around and fights by using his other surprisingly strong senses.

Shepherd

BREED: Anatolian shepherd / blue heeler mix
AGE: 3 years
STATUS: Vulnerable
PERSONALITY: stubborn, mature, pretentious
ADDITIONAL INFO: Shepherd is the self-appointed doctor of Risk's pack. He uses a discarded first-aid kit to treat wounds, and can identify whether a dog is vulnerable, immune, or infected. He claims to have gone to medical school but nobody believes him. He thinks his glasses make him look smart.

Wreck

BREED: Pit bull / American bulldog mix
AGE: 5 years
STATUS: Vulnerable
PERSONALITY: judgmental, dogmatic, short-tempered 
ADDITIONAL INFO: Wreck spent the first years of his life tied up in a backyard and forced to fight other dogs against his will. He escaped his humans when their house burned down one night. His harsh past made him selfish and unforgiving.

BREED: Shikoku dog
AGE: 2 years
STATUS: Immune
PERSONALITY: loyal, serious, obedient
ADDITIONAL INFO: Jun lived with his owner in a small restaurant the majority of his life. When his owner was killed by infected dogs, Jun stayed outside the closed-down building futilely hoping his owner would return. It is unknown whether Jun is unable to communicate or just chooses to remain silent.

Pillar

STATUS: Immune
PERSONALITY: independent, courageous, self-absorbed
ADDITIONAL INFO: Before joining Risk's pack, Pillar was a police dog whom ran away to the streets seeking freedom. She preferred living on her own and playing by her own rules. She joined Risk's pack because she sought purpose in her life again. She is closest to Task and sees him as an apprentice or little brother.

BREED: Mutt
AGE: 3 months
STATUS: Immune
PERSONALITY: childish, friendly, enthusiastic
ADDITIONAL INFO: Task doesn't actually remember the majority of his past. His mother brought him to the pack (lead by Wreck at the time) and was hit by a car shortly after. He was raised by various dogs in the pack, and never became close to any one dog until he met Pillar.

Knight

BREED: Mutt
AGE: 1 year
STATUS: Vulnerable
PERSONALITY: positive, playful, cautious
ADDITIONAL INFO: Knight was born and raised on the streets with his older brother. When the two siblings were separated, Knight was forced to seek shelter among any pack that would allow him. He finally found a stable home with Wreck's pack (now lead by Risk).

Mooli's Pack

Mooli

BREED: Australian Coolie / Coyote mix
AGE: 2 years
STATUS: Vulnerable
PERSONALITY: insensitive, apathetic, immature
ADDITIONAL INFO: Mooli lives just outside the city near the lake with his packmates Ragen, and Dee. He is not very friendly towards those he doesn't know (and even to his friends), but he ultimately has good intentions. He was born a street dog and never had much contact with humans.

Dee

BREED: Oriental Longhair / Siamese mix
AGE: 3 years
STATUS: Vulnerable
PERSONALITY: vain, considerate, careful
ADDITIONAL INFO: Dee was abandoned by her human owners at a young age, but you wouldn't tell it by looking at her. Dee tries her hardest to keep her coat looking clean and luxurious, which can be a challenge when you live with two filthy dogs in a cramped boxcar. Although she is commonly seen arguing with Mooli, the two are actually very close. She joined his small pack after he saved her from being chased by another dog. They've been inseparable ever since.

PERSONALITY: unenthusiastic, tolerant, responsible
ADDITIONAL INFO: Ragen's early life was spent with a homeless human who fed him, and in return Ragen protected him. They had been friends for years until the man eventually died of illness, and Ragen was left to fend for himself.

​Katzbalger's Pack

Katzbalger ("cots-ball-gur")

BREED: Irish Wolfhound / Gray Wolf mix
AGE: 6 years
STATUS: Infected
PERSONALITY: ambitious, merciless, unforgiving
ADDITIONAL INFO: Not much is known about Katzbalger besides the fact that he did not always live in the city. It is believed he traveled there from another town, or lived by himself in the woods. He was the first carrier of the virus, which was forced onto him by disease researchers.

ADDITIONAL INFO: Dogs that willfully joined Katzbalger, who once shared his vision of evolving into stronger breeds. They're in no way the same dogs they once were. Their minds are warped and damaged from the virus, and are no longer able to reason. They follow his commands without question, but are weak without his guidance.
